Blair Cameron Graham

1938-2015

Peacefully at home on Saturday, November 21, Blair Graham of Notre Dame, Manitoba passed away at the age of 77 years.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Marie Graham (nee Smith), daughter Connie Graham of Winnipeg, son Michael (Heather) Graham of Winnipeg, grandsons Sean Burton (Brandi) of Winnipeg, Jon Graham of Kelowna, BC and his great grandchildren Dane and Naomi Burton of Winnipeg. He is also survived by his sister Lorraine Rodgers of Carman, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends Margo Nicolson and Gabriel and Georgette Durand.

Blair was predeceased by his parents John and Kay Graham of Stephenfield, MB, sister in law Jean (Johnny) Towle of Summerside, PEI and special family members recently deceased Betty and Richard Gaudet of Summerside, PEI and Judith Colford of Halifax, NS.

Blair served in the Royal Canadian Air Force for 21 years, he retired as a Master Corporal in 1980 and moved to Stephenfield and became Recreation Director at Carman for six years. When he left the farm in 2010 he expressed his love for wildlife by having the farm declared a conservation area. Blair loved to laugh and make others laugh, he always had a smile and a joke.

The family would like to thank the wonderful people of Notre Dame who enriched the last five years of Blair’s life. Thank you to Dr. Holly Hamilton, Father Alain Guenou, the staff at the Notre Dame Clinic and Hospital and Boundary Trails Cancer Care for all their years of care and compassion.

In keeping with Blair’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment in the Smith family plot in Prince Edward Island will be held at a later date.
