Michael Joseph Anderchek

Michael Joseph Anderchek, 73, of Winnipeg Manitoba peacefully passed away on Wednesday October 5, 2016, at his home, after a lengthy battle with lung cancer.

Michael was born on March 3, 1943, in Timmins, Ontario. Mike is survived by his wife Denise, children, Karen (Jeff), Michael and Stephen (Jean), and his grandchildren, Justin, Eryn, Alia, Tyler and his great granddaughter Calixa, and his brothers, Julian, Jerome, Frank and Lorne.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mary, and his brothers, Adolph, Louie, Ben, Denis, Ambrose, Gerald, John, Robert, and Jim.

Mike was an avid hunter, and loved to garden and work on renovation projects around the home. Mike provided quiet support to family and friends over his entire life, and he will be truly missed.

A Celebration of his Life will be held on Monday October 10, 2016 at the St. Denis Roman Catholic Church in Haywood, Manitoba. Viewing and Eulogy at 1:30 p.m. followed by Mass at 2 p.m. with Father Marcel Toupin officiating. Burial to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
