With sadness, we announce the passing of Christiane Sala on September 9th, 2019, at the age of 74.
 
Christiane was born in Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB on October 11, 1944, the daughter of Yvonne (Cossin) and René Bazin.  In 1964, she married Roger Sala with whom she had five children.

Christiane will be lovingly remembered by Roger and their children: Joel (Carole), Anique (Jonathan), Stefan (Allta), Michel (Angela) and Corine (Mike) and grandchildren: Eric and Isabelle Sala, Sebastian and Poppy Glass, Luc, Brielle and Brynn Sala, Liam and Mia Sala, as well as her sister, Lili Delaquis and her brothers, Albert (Rolande) Bazin and Marc Bazin as well as her mother-in-law, Martha Sala and in-laws, extended family members and dear friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, father in-law Charles Sala, and siblings and in-laws, Lorraine Bazin, Roland (Cécile) Bazin, Guy Delaquis and Bella Bazin.  

Among her many great care-givers in the medical profession, the family especially wants to thank Dr. Holly Hamilton of Notre Dame de Lourdes for her loving care and respect.

Funeral Service will be held at the Notre Dame Catholic Church on Monday, September 16, 2019.  Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 1:30 p.m. with Msgr. Noël Delaquis officiating.

She will be forever remembered by those she loved and those who loved her as a gentle soul, providing guidance, wisdom and strength to all.
