Obituary

Larry Joseph Lapointe

January 5, 1961 - May 19, 2018

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear brother Larry. He died peacefully in his sleep after fighting many health conditions.

Larry will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Elaine Chatel, Gloria Kucharsky, Pat (Ed Wilchek) and Jo-Anne (Geoff Gard), his brother Maurice (Pauline), his sister-in-law Marion, and his special cousin Louis Ouellette (Norma). He also leaves to mourn his aunts Clara and Viola, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Richard and Georgina Lapointe, his brother Ron, his brothers-in-law Gerald Chatel and Martin Kucharsky and his niece Susan Coleman.

Larry loved music, singing and playing games. He especially liked to spend quality time with his family and friends, having fun and making everyone laugh with his great sense of humour. For the last few years he enjoyed going out for dinner and a movie with his good friends Geoff, Roger and Ken. Go Habs Go!

Thank you to Dr. Storsley, Dr. Embil and Dr. Lamba at HSC for providing exceptional care to our dear brother.

According to his wishes, a private family service is being held to honour his memory. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
