It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Nat on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 34 years.

She will forever be missed by her beloved son Justin Bernardin, her parents, Denis and Aline (née Roch) Bernard, her siblings, Marcel and daughter Gwendlynn, Richard (Michelle), Mireille (Trent) and children Trenton and baby Giesbrecht and Marc (Chantal) and step-son Landon. Also left to mourn are her aunts and uncles, René (Shelley) Roch and his children Lizette (Dale) and Dominique, Raynald (Nora) Roch and his children Philippe, Ariane (Matt) and their son Maxx, Nicole Coutts and her children Colin and Michelle, Norbert (Darlene) Roch and their son Jaedn, Louis Bernard, Lauraine (Ron) Picton and their children Danielle (Craig) Taylor, Riley and Avery, Roger (Cara) Connor, Ryan and Joanne, Raymond Bernard, Irene (Dan) Boyse and their daughters Nikki and Brianna, also her second family Mama Cécile and Papa Bert Furet and all their children. She also leaves to mourn special friends: Lianne and Brenda, the father of her children Mike Bernardin and his family, as well as great aunts and uncles, relatives, DBA families, medical staff and families at CancerCare.

Nathalie was predeceased by her son Alex Bernardin in 2015, by her grandparents, Albert and Lucienne Roch, Léon and Fernande Bernard and by her uncle Wayne Coutts.

Nathalie was born at the St. Boniface Hospital and was raised on a farm in St. Claude. She attended St. Claude School Complex and graduated in 2001. She attended RRCC in Portage, then moved to Winnipeg for awhile but moved back to the country. She experienced a few different jobs mainly retail but then settled in at the Portage Co-op for several years. She became a mother to Justin on October 4, 2007 and to Alex on March 25, 2012, they were her world. Children made her smile. She was Auntie Nat to many. She was devastated by the passing of her son Alex on November 9, 2015. She had learned to live one day at a time and was also taken way too soon. We will miss you our beautiful butterfly angel.
