Paul Labossiere

Peacefully at Lorne Memorial Hospital on June 27, 2017, Mr. Paul Roger Labossiere of Somerset, Manitoba passed away at the age of 73 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Dianne; their children, Brenda (Ken) Atkinson, Karla Labossiere (Gerrit van Donkelaar), and Dale Van Den Bosch (nephew); and grandchildren Kadeyn, Avery, Paige, and Brad;. He also leaves to mourn his four sisters; Annette Fouillen, Edith Mac Dougall, Lucille Pelletier and Clemance (Marcel) Pouteau; sister-in-laws Yolande Labossiere, Rachel Labossiere, Kathy DePape (Barry), Judy Lepp, Shannon Labossiere (Jules) and brother-in-laws Chris Warsaba; as well as many nephews and nieces.

He is predeceased by his parents, Alexis Labossiere and Marianne (nee Parent); sister Jeanne Van Den Bosch, brothers Arthur and Raymond; brother-in-laws, Louis Fouillen, Ian Mac Dougall, Edward Van Den Bosch, and Robert Warsaba.

Paul had a deep love for trucking, he owned and operated his own company for many years. After retiring from his company he continued to truck for grain farmers. Paul had a great love for his grandchildren and could be found around the yard playing with them on a daily basis. In his younger years he spent his free time camping, fishing, golfing and spending time with friends and family.

Funeral services will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lorne Memorial Hospital Palliative Care.
