Sincere sympathy to all Peggy's family. She was an interesting person who always took the time to talk when we would meet. As an articulate speaker at the Remembrance Day ceremonies, she was able to make the day meaningful to those of us who had not experienced neither war nor its effects. Her family reflect many of the values that she maintained throughout her life.

Peggy was an exceptional Lady, and an exceptional person of her generation. Always remember her taking part in community events, 4H bringing children to Carman Fair, her messages at Remembrance Day Service's, and always such a pleasure to see her in town for a brief chat. She will be missed.

Very sorry for your loss. Your Mom would ask me where I came from and when I said Scotland she would tell me about when she was a young woman in London, England . Where she met her future husband and how she was so pleased to tell me . She was a lovely woman . So glad to have known a small part of her journey.

To the Sheffield family. My deepest regrets on the passing of your Mom. Many a time, I think of the times I have known and spent time with all of you, with your Mom and family. I am truly Blessed to know such a wonderful and great lady. Time seems only yesterday that I could hear you mom scold me for doing something in the greenhouse or the flower shop, that was not up to standards or when time spent in England and I got to visit with Rod, Nancy and your mom, and bringing news from home to me. I know to have the loss of you Mom is going to be a great loss. But God has welcomed the Good and faithful servant home to be with your Dad. May God bless you all. My prayers to all of your family and know the deep feelings in my heart. I truly say God takes care of us in this time. But the tears we shed are the tears of happier times we all share and love. The feeling of Your Mom being there.

My sincerest condolences to the Sheffield family.
Auntie Peggy was like a second mother to me as I grew up with her son Rodney across the street. The Sheffield's took my sister and I into their collective arms as we grew from babies to adulthood and always made us welcome. We shared many Christmas, Easter and Birthday dinners as well as many sleep-overs. I hold many fond memories of living next door to them in the comfort that I was "family".
Uncle John and Auntie Peggy will always hold a special place in my heart.
