Raymond Dedieu

On Friday, November 24, 2017, Mr. Raymond Dedieu of Surrey, British Columbia passed away at the age of 59 years.

He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Susan (née Toupin), his son Stéphan (Carrie-Lynn), his daughter Melanie (Jonathan), and grandchildren Charlie-Lynn, Mia, and James.  Also left to mourn are his parents Charles and Madeleine Dedieu (née Philippot), his brothers and sisters, Alain (Suzanne), Brigitte, Michel (Michelle), mother in-law Rita Toupin, brothers and sisters in-law, Allan (Diane) and Roy (Lucie) Toupin as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Raymond was predeceased by his father in-law Bernard Toupin.

Ray was very outgoing and loved to be surrounded by friends and family.  He had a special way to make everyone feel welcome, and his personality, sense of humour and positive outlook on life are things that will be greatly missed.  Ray loved to share and reminisce about his work stories, and they too will be missed despite having heard the same story at least 15 times before.  Family was the most important thing to him, and his memory will forever be in our hearts.

Funeral services will be held in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Monday, December 4, 2017.  Eulogy and video tribute at 1:30 pm followed by Funeral Mass at 2:00 pm with Father Solomon Arthur officiating. Interment will take place after Mass at the St. Claude Parish Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice in his name.
