Ross Maxwell

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ross at Boundary Trails Health Centre after a long battle with cancer. Ross was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Ross leaves to mourn his “Hon” Beverly Maxwell; step-daughter Jennifer; step-son Eugene; grand-daughter Averie; father, Fred Harris; siblings, Glynn (Debbie) and their daughter Alison, Wendy, Pam and Lynne; and his adopted family, Lawrence, Helen McKinney, Eugene McKinney, Lawrence Jr and Norma, Reigh and Shirley, Justin and Eleni, Bill and Betty, Val and family. Also, the Chief and Council of Swan Lake First Nation; and special friends in Calgary and Grand Prairie, Alberta; Alex, Chris, Anum, Gaberial, John and Tara, Adrian and all his co-workers. He was predeceased by his mother Patricia Harris.

As an engineer, Ross traveled all over Canada, United States and England. In his early years Ross was in the Navy, spending many years at sea where his ashes will be scattered by his brother Glynn in the Atlantic Ocean as Ross had wanted. Ross enjoyed golfing, fishing, fast cars, playing poker with his buddies, watching sports and getting together with friends and family.
