Peacefully after a lengthy illness, with her family by her side, at the Notre Dame Hospital on Friday, March 10, 2006, Mrs. Josephine Kucharsky of St. Claude, Manitoba passed away at the age of 68 years.

She leaves to mourn three children: Ronald (Tammy) of St. Claude, Donna of Portage La Prairie and Kenneth (Sheri) of St. Claude;  seven grandchildren:  Tanya (Daniel), Amanda (Steven), Richard (Candace), Kevin, Lyle, Ashley and Richard Belhumeur; eight great-grandchildren:  Colby, Abby, Tyresse, Savannah, Hayden, Emily, Bailey and Joell.  She also leaves to mourn three brothers:  Frank (Joan) Chevrier, Eddy (Fay) Chevrier and Lloyd (Denise) Chevrier; one sister Doris Ernest; one sister-in-law Kathy Chevrier; special friend May Vuignier; and by her special pet Fuzzy.  Also numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1974; her father Antoine Chevier; her mother Mary (nee Kustra) and by three brothers: George (Eileen), Normand and Clifford (Simone).

Prayers will be held at Adam's Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 2 p.m. with Father Celestin Malengu Mubaya officiating. Interment to follow in the Woodlands Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or to the Manitoba Lung Association.
