Maurice Chevalier
Peacefully at the Swan Lake Hospital on Friday, November 14, 2014, Mr. Maurice Chevalier of Swan Lake, Manitoba passed away at the age of 78 years.
Maurice leaves to mourn his loving wife Alida (née De Beer); five children: Louise (Marc) Vigier, Debbie (Mike) Wonsiak, David (Melanie), Linda (Ward) Anticura and Stephen (Silke); 11 grandchildren: Natalie (Ryan), Ian (Maggie), Stephan, Danielle (Jeff), Nick, Sean (Maggie), Christian, Jordan, Kevin, Matthias and Lucas; six great-grandchildren: Easton, Brooks, Hartley, Paxton, Jaydis and Boden.
He also leaves to mourn three sisters-in-law, Alice Chevalier, Cathy Schnieder and Annie (Glen) Bernardin; 10 brothers-in-law: Joe De Beer, Ben (Joyce), Hank (Laura), Jake (Alice), Tom (Simone), George (Sandi), Hans (Bev), Gerry (Debby), Harry (Valerie) and Helmut Zeeuwen; and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends
Maurice was predeceased by his parents Alphonse Chevalier and Marie (née Godard); one brother John Chevalier; one sister Evelyn (Hubert) Rigaux; and by his in-laws: Jerry (Mary) De Beer, Egon Schnieder, Gertie Zeeuwen and Annie De Beer.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Swan Lake Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, November 20, 2014. Eulogy and video at 1:30, Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the parish cemetery with Father Chris Nwosu, Father James De Beer and Father Sebastian Gacki officiating.
Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or to the Swan Lake Hospital (Palliative Care Unit)
