Mirinda Faye McKinney
On Saturday, November 9, 2013, Miranda McKinney of Swan Lake First Nation, passed away at the age of 50 years.
Mirinda leaves to mourn three children, Jason Ranville (Tammy), Donald McKinney and Deanne McKinney (Gerald); five grandchildren, Jacob, Nathan, Ashanti, Cole and Stephan; her siblings, Gloria (Jim), Cindy, Mildred, Dwayne (Carolynn), Brian (Janet), Diane (Gaylord), Norma (Glen), Tracey (Rob), Angela (John), Pauline (Roger), Paul, Paula (Craig), William (Leona), Lucinda Chaske and Derek Cassidy (Cindy).
She was predeceased by her parents William McKinney Jr. and Margaret Myran (James); her son Christopher McKinney; and by her siblings Lorna McKinney and Eileen McKinney.
A Traditional Wake will be held at Swan Lake First Nation Hall on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. with Funeral Services on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Indian Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Joseph McKinney, Matthew McKinney, Sean Pierre, Dwain Walker, Kyle McKinney and Preston McKinney. Honorary Pallbearers will be special friend Judy Pashe and all the family and friends.
