Adèle Marie Rosalie Laurent
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear Tante Adèle on August 27, 2008 at the Treherne Hospital with her family at her side.
Tante Adèle was born on April 14, 1911 in St. Claude and lived her 97 years there. Adèle was predeceased by her father Marius Laurent; her mother Maria (née Darel) Laurent; her brothers: Marius and Regis; her sisters: Marie, Emma, Berthe and Emilie; nephews: Georges, Normand and Reg; and by one niece Lorraine.
Adèle is survived by one sister Marguerite (Rick) Robart; one sister-in-law Hélène Laurent; and by 5 generations of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with the recitation of the Rosary prior to the service at 10:30 a.m with Mgr Roger Bazin officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the St. Claude Wellness Centre, Box 334 St. Claude, MB R0G 1Z0
The family would like to express their most heart felt thanks to Yvonne Laurent for all her loving care of Tante Adèle. Also, special thanks to the homecare girls, St. Claude T.C.U. staff, Dr. Viens and staff at the Treherne Hospital.
