Albert Bazin

Peacefully at the Centre de Santé Notre-Dame, Mr. Albert Bazin passed away on January 31, 2023 at the age of 88 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 67 years, Rolande (née Chanel); his sons, Rhéal (Joanne), Jean (Paula), Daniel (Kristal), Normand (Ellen) and daughter-in-law Sandra Bazin; his grandchildren Stephane (Rebecca), Yvonne (Ryan), Melanie (Pierre), Martin (Jessica), Joy (Derek), Alex (Joey) Svan, Roux,  Sylvia (Brannon), Sheldon, Sylvain, MacKenzie, Blake and Coleston and his 15 great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his siblings and in-laws, Évelyne Delaquis, Marc Bazin, Roger Sala, and Rolande Chanel, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Albert is predeceased by his son Bertrand Bazin, his grandson Christopher Bazin, his parents René and Yvonne Bazin, his parents-in-law Eugène and Rosaline Chanel; his siblings and in-laws, Roland (Cécile) Bazin, Lorraine Bazin, Bella Bazin, Christiane Sala, Guy Delaquis, Marie Chanel, Antoine Noël Chanel, Julie (André) Mabon, Antoine Claude (Béatrice) Chanel, Guy Chanel, Alixe (René) Bosc, Yvonne (Paul) Ronceray, Joseph (Marie-Louise) Chanel and Virgine (Albert) Ronceray.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 at the Notre Dame Catholic Church. Video Tribute Presentation to begin at 1:45 p.m. followed by Mass at 2:00 p.m. with Msgr Noël Delaquis officiating.
