Albert Brunel
Peacefully at his residence on Monday, May 13, 2013, Mr. Albert Brunel of St. Lupicin, Manitoba passed away at the age of 64 years.
He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Yvette (née Tremblay); his four sons, Joey (Krista), Stefane (Jana), Daniel and Christian (Clair) and his granddaughter Ryleigh. Also left to mourn are his four brothers, Larry (Lil), Gerry, Maurice (Betty) and Bobby; mother-in-law Flore Labossière; sisters-in-law, Lucille (Norbert) Roch, Eva (Ian) Barclay, Janet (John) Waluk, Marie (Mark) McDonald; and brothers-in-law, Guy Tremblay (Kelly), Gilles Labossière (Ruth) and Philippe Labossière.
Bert was predeceased by his parents Léon Brunel and Marie (née Bérard); and by his fathers-in-law Maurice Tremblay and Romain Labossière.
Bert possessed an unbelievable life spirit that resonated with his family, his community and his friends. He grew up on and later succeeded the family farm in St. Lupicin, where he and his loving wife of 40 years raised their four sons. Bert’s duty and commitment took him beyond his responsibilities as a farmer. His winters were spent playing hockey, coaching minor hockey and maintaining the local arena. A jack of all trades, Bert was always willing to lend a helping hand. Never one to stay still, Bert could be found hunting, fishing, golfing or supporting local events and activities. During his retirement, he cherished time spent with his granddaughter, travelling with his family and visiting with friends.
