Albin Lebeau
Albin Lebeau of Swan Lake, Manitoba passed away peacefully with his family at his side, at the Notre Dame Foyer on March 15, 2024 at the age of 100 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 71 years, Adrienne (née Talbot); his children, Lucille (Murray) Razzell, Guy (Cathy) Lebeau, Diane (Ben) Van Cauwenberghe, Gisele Jowett, Leonard Lebeau and Janet Lebeau; 12 grandchildren, Derek (Stacey), Melissa (Ian), Michael (Katlyn), Tara (Quintin), Kim (James), Matthew (Andrea), Steven (Amanda), Kim (Mike), Rob, Karen, Shaun (Alicia) and Ashley (Ryan); 19 great grandchildren, Austin, Dylan, Emily, Genevieve, Aydin, Spencer, Parker, Tulsi, Charlie, Bailey, Theo, Nash, Harlow, Sephora, Trenton, Makayla, Ethan, Rieley and Rian. He is also survived by his sisters, Laurence Marcq and Gilberte Combs as well as his in-laws, Hilda Lebeau, Alice De Decker, Celine Lebeau, Monique Ahle, Denis Talbot, Suzanne (Rod) Boudreau, Emile Cenerini, Marilyn Talbot, Linda Talbot and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Albin was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Azail Lebeau; his son Don Lebeau; his son-in-law David Jowett; his great granddaughter Angel; and his brothers and sisters, Bertrand Lebeau, Grace (Art) Catteeuw, Roger (Angele) Lebeau, Reynald Lebeau, Armel Lebeau and his in-laws, Emmanuel Marcq, Garth Combs, Marcel (Rose) Talbot, Léopold (Rita) Talbot, André (Thérèse, Anna) Talbot, Gérard (Louise) Talbot, Robert (Antoinette) Talbot, Agnès Cenerini, Claude Talbot, Aurèle Talbot, Tony Ahle and Denise Talbot.
Albin Joseph Lebeau was born July 7th, 1923 to Albert and Azail Lebeau in the Mariapolis area; the 3rd of 8 children. He has a happy upbringing and farmed with his Dad and brothers. He later went on his own to farm. Albin married Adrienne Talbot on June 21st, 1952. Together they did mixed farming for many years near Pilot Mound, MB.
Albin and Adrienne had 7 children. They retired from farming in 1992 and spent 25 years in Swan Lake, MB. Albin could often be seen enjoying walks around town and bird watching. One of Albin’s favourite pastimes was listening to the Swap & Shop on his radio. He also liked to keep up to date with currents events. Albin always enjoyed conversations about farming.
Prayers will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held in Swan Lake at the St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church on Friday, March 22, 2024. Eulogy and Video Tribute at 11:00 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 11:30 with Father Shibin Bosco officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Brandon, Manitoba.
