Alexandre Hutlet
Peacefully at the Notre Dame Hospital on Saturday, October 9, 2021 Mr. Alex Hutlet of Holland, Manitoba passed away at the age of 85 years.
He leaves to mourn his passing one sister Angele (Remi) Cabernel and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Albert Hutlet and by his mother Alice (née Baccus), one sister Therese (Gaston) Cabernel and by one infant brother.
Alex was the youngest of three children. He lived on the farm in the same house his whole life until moving to the manor in Holland.
Alex had many hobbies which included watching, and in his younger days, playing hockey. He also enjoyed Belgium bowling, playing bein, playing pool, fishing and to his last days doing crossword puzzles. He also was an avid reader when he was on the farm. He had quite a large collection of books! Alex had a huge garden where he planted at least 100 tomatoes plants every year which he started from seeds in the spring. He enjoyed living in the manor for the last 10 years and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the Bruxelles Parish Cemetery. Everyone is welcome to attend but must be fully vaccinated.
