Suddenly at the Notre Dame Hospital on Monday, April 20, 2009, Mr. Alexander Benoit of Altamont, Manitoba passed away at the age of 82 years.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife Edmèe (née Desrochers) of Altamont; seven children: Denis (Patricia), Hank (Ava), Rick (Jocelyne), Joanne (Wayne) Massing, Carole Rondeau, Allin (Cathy) and Diane Benoit-Hill; twelve grandchildren: Lorelei, Nick, Amanda, Shawn, Serena, Michael, Andrew, Lisa, Jeremy, Kyla, Alexia and Tegan; and one great grandchild: Carrissa. He also leaves to mourn numerous niece, nephews relatives and friends.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Mariapolis Roman Catholic Church on Friday, April 24, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Father John Te Nguyen officiating.
