Peacefully at the Heritage Lodge in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Saturday September 28, 2002, Mr. Alfred Fleury of St. Francois Xavier, Manitoba passed away at the age of 85 years.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife Estelle (nee Desjardins), 4 children: Raymond (Alice) Fleury of Winnipeg, Edouard (Céline) Fleury of St. Francois Xavier, Marguerite (John) Peters of St. Francois Xavier, and Bernice (Léo) Demers of Haywood. Also 15 grandchildren: Cindy and Paul; Lorraine, Philip, René, Denis and Joceline; Beverly; Lionel, Bridgette, Carmelle, Marcella, Christopher, Nicolus and François; and 8 great grandchildren: Patrick, Janelle, Célèste; Kirsten, Liam; Mitchell, Braden; and Louis. He also leaves to mourn 7 sisters: Therese Feal, Elizabeth (Betty) Medinski, Jeanne Kiazyk, Gertrude (Gertie) Barc, Agnes Tuliao, Irene Bouchard, Ida Lachance and one brother George Fleury. He was predeceased by three brothers: Alexandre, Charles and René.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Eustache Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday October 2, 2002 at 11 a.m. preceded by Recitation of the Rosary at 10:30, with Msgr Henri Perron and Father Roland Tessier officiating. Cremation to follow with interment in the Parish Cemetery.
