Peacefully at the Lorne Memorial Hospital in Swan Lake, MB on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, Mrs. Alice Van De Kerckhove of Swan Lake, Manitoba passed away at the age of 89 years.

She leaves to mourn her four daughters: Joyce (Raymond Buydens), Lucille Hilhorst, Marianne (Ron Matthys) and Gayle (Barry Loewen); four sons: Ron (Germaine), Denis (Jan), Ken (Pat) and Rick (Carolyn); 23 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren; her two sisters, Rose Van De Kerckhove and Marie-Ange (Felix Godard); one brother, Joe (Marguerite) Baete; one sister-in-law Annie Baete and brothers-in-law Roger Lebeau, Oscar (Marie) Van De Kerckhove and George (Doreen) Van De Kerckhove.

Alice was predeceased by her husband Richard, her grandson Jeremy Loewen, her sisters: Madeleine (Leon) Fifi, Angele Lebeau, Germaine (Marcel) Haegeman and her brothers Marcel Baete and Lucien (Lorette) Baete. She was also predeceased by her brothers in law Ceasar (Emelda) Van De Kerckhove and Lorne Van De Kerckhove.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church in Swan Lake, Manitoba on Monday, May 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Eulogy and Video prior to Mass at 12:45 p.m. Family interment to follow in the Swan Lake Parish Cemetery with Father John Te Nguyen officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Swan Lake Palliative Care, Box 40, Swan Lake, MB R0G 2S0.
