Allan James Gray
It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Allan James Gray (Big Al to his many friends). Allan Passed suddenly at the young age of 55, due to health complications.
He was a well-known businessman in Notre Dame de Lourdes. His restaurant “Big Al’s Burgers” fed many people from across Manitoba and beyond. He always had a smile for everyone who came to support his business. He was known for his generous nature and always supported local fundraisers. Allan was very dedicated to his customers and his town. Allan looked after his siblings and would help all of us the best that he could. He made things happen.
He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, Lise, Denis, Robert, Jean, Gilles (Tammy) and Yvette (Dave); his nieces and nephews, Christopher, Matthieu, Farrah (Chris), Jeremy, Angela, Candace and Kurtis; also, Tyler’s wife Ami; great-nieces and nephews, Daylan, Braden, Aurora, Zachary, Zoey, Maraiah, Maddison and Noel; and numerous uncles and aunts, cousins and many, many friends.
Allan was predeceased by his mother Anne Marie Gray (née Preteau); his father William Gray; his brother Maurice (Lori); and by his nephew Tyler.
There will be a Come and Go Visitation with Big Al and his family at Adam’s Funeral Home on Friday, January 26, 2024, between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome to join the family before and after at Big Al’s Burgers.
Interment will take place at a later date at the St. Lupicin Cemetery
