André Bourrier

Peacefully at the Notre Dame Foyer on Monday, July 3, 2017, Mr. André Bourrier of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba passed away at the age of 74 years.

He is survived by his wife Christiane (née Chabbert), daughters Patricia (Gerry) Desrochers and Nicole (David) Bibault, his grandchildren, Zoé, Kyle and Brett Desrochers, Tyler, Alyssa, Kae-Lynn and Mikaylie Bibault. Also left to mourn is his mother Thérèse Bourrier and his brothers and sister, René (Marie), Donald (Muriel), Norman (Lilliane) and Paulette (Denis) Vincent as well as his in-laws, Cécile (Noël) Durand, Lucille (Norbert) Delaquis, Diane (Roger) Payette, Réal (Lorraine) Chabbert and Marc Chabbert along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

André was predeceased by his father Marc Bourrier, parents in law Antoine and Maximilienne Chabbert, sister in law Estelle Bourrier, godchild Linda Bourrier and nephew Jean Hince.

Dad was an avid fisherman and hunter and always looked forward to those seasons and spending time with family and friends. The grandchildren loved and will always remember Pepere's garlic sausage. He worked hard all his life and was extremely proud of being the local Shell agent. He met so many people throughout the years who will remember him fondly. He enjoyed being around people and was known as a jokester. He loved his family and took great pride in his grandchildren. We love you, and we'll miss you Pepere. The word that will always remind us of Dad is "Allez" which he used as a toast to celebrate family/friends.

We would like to thank everyone who lent a helping hand to Dad through the years. We would also like to thank the staff at Foyer Notre Dame, Notre Dame Hospital and the doctors for the wonderful care he always received. The family appreciates your kindness.

Funeral services will be held in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Friday, July 7, 2017. Rosary and video tribute at 10:30 am followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 am with Father Alain Guenou officiating. Interment will take place after Mass at the Notre Dame Parish Cemetery.
