We thank God for the gift of his wonderful daughter Angele who was brought to eternal rest on Sunday, August 5, 2012. Angele’s life focused on faith, family and friends and her courage in facing her recent battle with cancer is an inspiration to us all.

She also leaves to mourn her brother Marcel (Alma) Verdonck and sisters-in-law Isabel Verdonck and Anita Verdonck. Angele was predeceased by her parents Octaaf and Zulma Verdonck and by two brothers George and Roger.
Angele was born in Swan Lake, Manitoba on June 21, 1935 and was a delight to her parents and three older brothers. She enjoyed school, helping her parents on the farm and from a young age established a treasured network of friends. A 53 Chevy from Somerset was soon rolling down the Swan lake farm lane and wedding bells followed in October of 1955. Angele spent the next 57 years thoroughly enjoying being a loving wife, mom, grandma and most recently great- gma. Angele was an active member of her community over the years and enjoyed connecting with family and friends throughout her life.
Our family would like to express sincere appreciation to Dr. Vakilha and staff at the Somerset Clinic, Drs. Woelk and Menzies and staff at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Father Armand LeGal and all the friends and family whose compassion, care and prayers over the last several months will forever be remembered.
