She also leaves to mourn her siblings: Marcel (Dorothée) Dequier, Roland (Yvonne) Dequier, Odile (Bryan) Muzyka, Claudette Campbell, Norbert (Sandra) Dequier, Rose-Marie (Jack) Coakes; along with her brothers and sisters in law; Albert (Jeanne) Rouire, Jos (Francine) Rouire, Raymond (Anita) Rouire and Roland (Pauline) Rouire, Alice (Florent) Labossière, Yvonne (Roland) Dequier and Diane (Ron) Anaka.

She was predeceased by her parents Antoine and Victorine Dequier; her in-laws: Ernest and Yvonne Rouire; Georgette (Guy) Lemieux and Leroy Campbell.

Angèle was born on May 5, 1943 and resided in St. Claude, MB.  She attended Partney School and then moved to Haywood, MB in 1957.  She then met the love of her life Maurice.  They were married on August 20, 1960 in Haywood.  From there they moved to their dairy farm in 1965 where Mom worked very hard on the farm while raising her six children.

Our mother cherished her nine grandchildren as they brought joy and happiness into her life.  Mom’s favourite sport was when her extended family would get together and play baseball.  She also had her favourite team players and you know who you are.  Mom also loved to go camping in Spruce Woods and having water fights with Henri Bernard.  She also loved horseback riding there as well.

Mom also had a passion for her yard and shrubs.  She had one of the most beautiful yards for miles.  She obtained all her gardening skills after working 20 years at Jefferies Nursery in Portage la Prairie, MB.  After reminiscing with some of her co-workers from Jefferies, they all stated that the greenhouses would never be the same.

Throughout her life she had tremendous faith in the Lord.

We would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Rubinger and his nurse Tiffany from CancerCare MB.  Thank-you also to Dr. Kinnear and the nursing staff from the Portage District General Hospital.  Thank you also to Dr. Viens her family practitioner.  Mom also had very special friends Gertie and Alvin Stinson who where there for her everyday while she was in the Portage Hospital.  We would also like to thank family and friends who were there for us during this very difficult time.

Mom you fought long and hard but it was unfortunate you had to leave us.  You have touched a lot of people’s lives and we will miss your contagious smile and laughter.

We love you Mom.
