Peacefully at her residence in Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba on Monday, December 4, 2023, Anita passed away at the age of 80 years.

She leaves to mourn her partner, Rudy Robitaille; her children, Raymond Bibault, Monique (Gilbert) Badiou, Sheri-Lynn (Bruno) Labossière and Nadine (Rob) Van Deynze; her grandchildren, Candice (Dan), Dalton (Sharon), Jérémie (Tara), Breanne (Colbe), Brendan, Dylan, Nick (Micheline), Chelsea (Brendan), Bryson (Hunter) and her great-grandchildren, Adelyn, Chesney, Daxton; along with Rudy’s children, Christine (Percy) Cadman, Gisèle (Dennis) Leclerc, Carole (Derek) Wilson and grandchildren, Scott, Parry, Marc, Ryan, Deanna, Jessica and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Ethan, Conner, Alexa and Vincent.  Also left to mourn are her in-laws, Gabriel Durand, Bob Robitaille (Lilliane Bridges), Évelyne Julien (Dave Reid), Gilberte Le Heiget, Lorraine (René) Philippot, Gisèle Deleurme, Adèle Young and Alphonse (Tracey) Bibault as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Anita was predeceased by her parents, Ernest Deurbrouck and Augustine (née Julien); by her sister Georgette Durand; Rudy’s daughter Ginette Pongoski; one great-grandson Kirk Cadman and by her in-laws, Alice (Pierre) Fouasse, Hubert (Évelyne) Robitaille, Céline Robitaille, Yves Julien, Georges Le Heiget, Allan Young and Gilbert Bibault.

Anita was born May 8, 1943. She grew up and attended school in Rathwell. She was the youngest of 2 girls. Anita had 4 children which she cherished. Later in life she met Rudy, the love of her life.

Anita moved to Notre-Dame as a young lady and worked as a health care aide for over 30 years.

Anyone who knew Anita knew her for her kind heart and welcoming spirit. Her door was always open and coffee was always on.

Anita enjoyed gardening, playing cards, puzzles, company, traveling, and watching the birds with her morning coffee. She was a good sport and always willing to try new things.

Funeral Service will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 2:00pm with a private interment to follow in the Notre Dame Parish Cemetery.
