Antoine (Tony) Berard

Peacefully at the Notre-Dame Hospital on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, Mr. Antoine Berard of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba passed away at the age of 91 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Yolande (née Lesage); his children, Diane (Émilien) Lafrenière, Richard (Darlene), Roland, Lorraine (Lucien) Vigier, Michel (Colleen) and son-in-law Marcel Robitaille; his grandchildren, Christiane (Brent), Ron (Bev), José (Jerry), Dean (Marianne), Leanne (Dean), Geoffrey (Layna), Kevin (Angela), Lynn (Jill), Monique (Trevor), Philip (Stacey), Cherilyne (Josh), Daniel (Natalie), Sophie, Jolyn (Mitch), Justin and Jessica; and 27 great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn three sisters, Angèle Sibilleau, Madeleine Brouze and Yvette Yarjau; one brother-in-law Donat Lesage, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is predeceased by his daughter Jacqueline Robitaille; his parents Pierre Berard and Marie (née Pelissier); his siblings, Firmin, Jean (Louise), Helene (Edmond) Ross, Marie (Leon) Brunel, Firmin (Élodie), Jeannette (Yvon) Ross, Raymond (Raymonde); three brothers-in-law Joseph Sibilleau, Frank Brouze and Paul Yarjau.

Funeral services will be held in the Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church on Monday, April 30, 2018. Eulogy and video tribute at 1:30, followed by Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. with Father Alain Guenou officiating.  Family interment will take place after Mass at the Notre Dame  Parish Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Notre Dame Health Foundation, Box 190, Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB  R0G 1M0.
