Armand Henri Joseph Fifi
Pe acefully surrounded by his family, at the Tiger Hills Health Centre in Treherne, MB on Sunday, June 14, 2015, Mr. Armand Fifi of Bruxelles, MB passed away at the age of 84 years.
Armand leaves to mourn his loving wife Angele (née Marginet); three children, Corinne (Andrew) Grift, Gabriel and Colette; and one grandson Joshua. He also leaves four sisters, Marie-Rose (André) Godard, Yvette (Armand) Hacault, Tharsile (Leonard) Foidart and Henriette (Elmer) Mauws; two brothers, Jean (Mathilde) Fifi and Noel Fifi; and one sister-in-law Frances Fifi. Armand also leaves to mourn, Angele’s family, five sisters, Mary Adam, Adele (Albert) Cabernel, Marguerite (Joe) Baete, Céline (Reynald) Lebeau and Annette (Albert) Wytinck; one brother Robert (Jacqueline) Marginet; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Armand was predeceased by his parents Henri Fifi and Marie-Jeanne (nee Baccus); three brothers, Br. Adolphe Fifi, Hubert Fifi and George Fifi; his parents-in-law Alberic Marginet and Louise (née Hutlet); two sisters-in-law Angeline and Alice Marginet; three brothers-in-law Raymond and Roland Marginet and Clement Adam; and by one nephew Jason Marginet.
Armand was born July 8, 1930 in St. Alphonse. He was the fourth child of`10 children. Armand enjoyed being with his family whether at work or play. He enjoyed baseball, bowling, playing cards and golfing. He took pride in doing all things well. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. He accepted what life brought his way without complaint. He was a true gentleman with a gentle, kind and generous spirit. He was a man of few words but he made up for it with deeds. He had a heart of gold.
Family prayers will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the St. Gerard Roman Catholic Church in Bruxelles, MB on Thursday, June 18, 2015. Prayers and eulogy at 10:30 am followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 am with Father John McKenzie officiating. Interment will take place after Mass at the Bruxelles Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
