Armand Jacques
Peacefully, with his family at his side at the St. Claude Pavilion on Friday, September 12, 2008, Mr. Armand Jacques of St. Claude, Manitoba passed away at the age of 85 years.
He leaves to mourn his passing three daughters: Denise (Robert) de Rocquigny of Haywood, Irene (Jack Stefanishyn) of Russell and Marilyne (Marcel) Poirier of Haywood; one son Robert (Denise) of Calgary; ten grandchildren: Gilbert (Lynne) de Rocquigny, Norbert (Pam) de Rocquigny, Christianne (Daniel) Rosset, Nadine (Kevin) Green, Lise (Luc) Deleurme, Suzanne Dheilly (Jason Propp), Martin (Mandy) Poirier, Michele Poirier (Marc Lesage), Tony M. Poirier and Ginette Jacques; and ten great-grandchildren: Chantal and Janelle de Rocquigny, Samuel and Nathan de Rocquigny, Natasha and Stephanie Rosset, Philippe Green, Talia and Dérick Deleurme and Brayden Poirier. He also leaves to mourn his in-laws: Marge Jacques, Albert Fouasse, Irene Bellec and Adele Bellec.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Adele (née Bellec) in 1985; his father Joseph Jacques in 1949; his mother Caroline (née Hince) in 1965; two sisters: Rose Fouasse in 2004 and Lina Philippot in 2001 (Jean-Marcel); two brothers: Edouard in 2007 and Victor in 1932; and by two infant brothers: Joseph and Albert.
Prayers will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Monday, September 15, 2008 at 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 16, 2008. Viewing, eulogy and video tribute at 10 a.m. followed by celebration of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. with Mgr Roger Bazin officiating. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society, the Adult Day Program or to a charity of choice.
