Arthur Deleurme
Peacefully at the Treherne Hospital on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, Mr. Arthur Deleurme of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba passed away at the age of 70 years.
He leaves to mourn Monique (née de Rocquigny) his loving wife of 47 years; four children: Marc, Aline (Ken), Thérèse and Claude (Brenda); six grandchildren: Michel (Chantal), René (Stephanie), Kaleigh, Shaelyn, Quintin and Jagger; three great-granddaughters: April, Tanika and Mackenzie; his mother Maria (née Robitaille); one brother Albert (Edith) Deleurme; five sisters: Lucienne (Placide) Gobin, Hélène (Gabriel) Badiou, Germaine (Guy) de Rocquigny, Irène Deleurme and Solange (Bernard) Balcaen.
He also leaves to mourn his passing his in-laws: Edith (Albert) Deleurme, Alice Durand, Guy (Germaine) de Rocquigny, Solange (Jim) Pauls, Claudette (Denis) Philippe, Louise (Dave) Patraschuk, Lorraine (Michel) Binne, Rosine Faucher, Nicole (Raymond) Bérard and Michelle (Marcel) Dheilly, as well as numerous, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Arthur was predeceased by one child Joseph at infancy; his father Joseph Deleurme in 2003; his father-in-law Hilaire in 1982; his mother-in-law Nathalie de Rocquigny in 1983; nephews: Gilles Déquier, Gérald Gobin, Robert Gobin, Robert Durand, Alain Deleurme, Nicolas DeRuyver and by one niece Odette Déquier.
With respect for his wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral Services will be held in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Recitation of the Rosary at 1:30, Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery with Father Léon Mubikayi officiating.
The family wishes to express their thanks to family and friends for their support in this difficult time. A special thanks to the staff at the Tiger Hills Health Centre, especially to Dr. Vorster and his colleagues for their compassion and care.
