It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
After a long and courageous battle, Audrey passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre.
Remaining to forever cherish Audrey's memory are her husband, Albert, children, Kim (George), Andy (Terry), Denise (Rick) and Darlene (Mark), her father, Jack Pritchard, grandchildren, Robert, Sara, Danielle, Jennifer (Len), Albert, Keith, Stephanie (Kirby), Thomas (Nicole), Megan (Jamie), Leah, Jazlyn and adopted grandchild Melanie. She also leaves to mourn her brothers, Bill (Gloria), Les (Joanne), Norm (Melanie) and Ken (Val).
Audrey was predeceased by her mother, Norma Pritchard, sister, Shirley Turnbull, nephew, Grant Pritchard and niece Jana Pritchard.
The family of Audrey wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to all medical staff at Health Sciences Centre for the wonderful and heartfelt care of our dear wife, mother and grandmother. In the time she spent there she made friends with the unit assistants, nurses and doctors. We cannot express how grateful we are for the staff in SICU and A3 stepdown and general floor. You are a wonderful bunch of people.
Mom's most treasured part of her life was her family, she was extremely proud of the adults they had become. Mom's passion for her children and grandchildren was undeniable as seen in the beautiful quilts and crafts she made for her family. She was always eager to have them all around her. Mom had a gift of making each person in her family feel like they were loved and cherished like no other.
Funeral Services will be held in Christ the King Church, 847 St. Mary's Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. followed by cremation. A private family interment will take place at the St. Vital Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of ones choice.
