It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Betty. With family by her side at the Riverview Health Centre on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the age of 73 years. She now walks peacefully above in serenity and love.
She is survived by her sons: Larry, Brian (Beverly) and Rick; her daughters: Theresa (Perry) Asham and Monique Furet (Ron) and daughter-in-law Terry Van Den Bussche; her grandchildren: Craig, Crystal (Brody), Courtney (Taylor), Corey, Shane (Amanda), Jessica (Tyler), Shawn, Jessica, Cheyenne, Vanessa (Aaron), Sierra, Pheonix, Miranda, Samantha, Madison and Joshua and her great grandchildren: Curtis, Elliot, Knox, Faber, Sawyer, Tyson and Levi. She is also survived by her uncles Orest (Anne) Antonation, Lloyd (Merle) Antonation and aunt Rose Fedarwich as well as the Cousin family and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Betty was predeceased by husband Nestor, her sons Dennis and Daniel, her parents Tony Chopp and Marie Antonation and adopted parents Camille and Eliza Cousin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue Winnipeg, Manitoba R3A 1P6.
Funeral Services will be held in the Holland Community Hall on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Marcia Barrett officiating. A private family interment to follow at the Van Den Bussche Cemetery.
