Bonnie was born in Portage la Prairie on August 10, 1944 and passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of March 21, 2015 at the age of 70 years. She lived in Holland, Manitoba with her husband, Laurent, of 54 years.

Besides her loving husband Laurent, she leaves to mourn her children; Darlene Lamoureux (Albert), Mark Lecoq (Clarisse) and Dwain Lecoq (Kelly); her grandchildren, Adam, Dawn (Jason), Desiree (Daniel), Robin (Ryan), Tanis (Anthony), Laine & Camryn and great-grandchildren, Adam, Treyvan, Kadence, Rylan, Callie & Aidan; her sisters Gail Kleebaum and Sherry Cooper; brother Tim McQuay; as well as many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was predeceased by her parents Bill and Alma McQuay; her in laws Antoine and Guillemine Lecoq; sister Maureen Smith (Lugsdin); brother-in-law Norman Kleebaum; and very recently her brother-in-law Jim Lugsdin and brother Matthew McQuay.

Bonnie and Laurent were married on November 25, 1961. They started their married life on the family farm in the Treherne area. A change in Laurent s occupation took them to Crystal City, Manitoba then to Disley, Saskatchewan and eventually to Meadows, Manitoba where they started their business Aable Roofing . In 1999, they moved to Holland which was always considered home . Mom enjoyed building, decorating, and being at the shack in the hills. She loved cooking for company that came out to hunt or visit.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Mom s homecare workers as well as the doctors and staff at Treherne Hospital for the respect and care shown towards Mom. Thank you to Noel and Sandy Nattrass and Alvin Adam for their support during this difficult time.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Bruxelles Community Hall, Bruxelles, Manitoba with a luncheon to follow.

In lieu of flowers; donations may be sent to a charity of choice.
