Peacefully at the Boyne Lodge in Carman, MB on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, Mrs. Cécile Painchaud of Fannystelle, Manitoba passed away at the age of 100 years.
She leaves to mourn her passing four children: Fernande (Leonard) Lofto, Marcel Painchaud, Noella (Larry) Rose and Diane (Orval) Bernardin; one daughter-in-law Pat Painchaud; nine grandchildren: Mona (Gord), Colleen (friend, Laura), Garrett (Carol), Monique, Marcel, Nicole (Tim), Marc, Kevin (Marichu) and Lesley; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband André in 1956; one son Léo in 2002; and by one grandson Roger in 1998.
Funeral Services will be held in the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Fannystelle, MB on Monday, September 21, 2009. Recitation of the Rosary at 10 a.m., Funeral Mass at 10:30 followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery with Father Maurice Jeanneau officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at the Carman Boyne Lodge. Special thanks to her companions for the care she received over the last years.
