Cécile Marie Alice Payette

Peacefully, with family by her side at the Notre Dame Foyer on Friday, February 12, 2021, Mrs. Cécile Payette of Somerset, Manitoba passed away at the age of 77 years.

Left to cherish Cécile’s memory are her children, Daren (Bonnie) Van Den Bussche, RoseAnne (Wes) Friesen, RoseLynn (Jules) Poiron; one daughter-in-law Denise Van Den Bussche; 2 step daughters; Terry (Dave) McCreery, Simone Major; 15 grandchildren, Aaron (Carla), Kyle (Amanda), Meghan, Johnathon (Charlene), Anthony (Kristen), Trevor (Lorenne), Ryan, LiAnne (Tyler), Joel (Kristin), Kayla (Sarah), Chrystal (Greg), Lindsey (Cory), Courtney (Chris), Shawn (Carmen) and Amanda (Matt); 21 great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law Roger (Diane) Payette; and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Cécile was predeceased by her husband Ronald Payette in 2009; one son Denis Van Den Bussche in 2020; her parents Isaïe Tremblay and Marie-Louise (née Macaire); and one brother Aristide Tremblay.

A private graveside service will be held at the Notre Dame Parish Cemetery on Friday, February 19, 2021.  The service will be available to view on our website at 3 p.m. If you would like your name to appear in the guestbook, please email your name to office@afh.ca
