Christian Kowalczuk

Peacefully, on October 6, 2022, Christian Kowalczuk passed away at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 34 years.

He will be forever loved and fondly remembered by his mother Anita Gagnon-Kowalczuk; his sisters Chantelle (Pierre), Rochelle (Josh) and Justine; his grandfather Albert Gagnon; his uncles Ronald Gagnon and Roger Gagnon, as well as numerous cousins, many friends and colleagues.

Christian was predeceased by his grandmother Dorothée Gagnon and his uncles, Alain Gagnon, Norman Gagnon, Daniel Gagnon and Kenneth Gagnon.

Christian was a kind, gentle soul, who wanted to do so much good in this world. He loved playing guitars, going fishing and camping with his friends and enjoyed visiting his grandparents and uncles on the farm in St. Alphonse. He also loved cats and dogs.

He graduated from St. Norbert Collegiate, then attended the University of Manitoba and obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree. He then proceeded to obtain his Medical Laboratory Sciences Diploma (Honors) at Red River College. He was employed at Victoria General Hospital and then currently at St. Boniface General Hospital as a Medical Laboratory Technologist.

A Private Funeral Service and Interment has taken place. Memorial donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermont Ave, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3E 0V9.
