Clarence Tichborne

Clarence Arthur was born to William and Myrtle Tichborne on April 14, 1927 and passed away at Kelowna Hospital in B.C. on December 23, 2009 at age 82.

Clarence received his education in West Treherne School. He worked for Manitoba Hydro for over 30 years and a few years for Manitoba Housing. Clarence then retired to West Bank, B.C.

Retirement was enjoying coffee with his buddies every morning. Clarence touched the lives of many with his gentle nature.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Lorraine (Thorimbert) of 29 years and her family, a sister Beverly and Daniel Hyde of Winnipeg, grandchildren, nieces, nephew, many friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his parents and two infant brothers.

Clarence wished to be cremated and brought home to Manitoba. A graveside service will be held at Woodland Cemetery on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 12 p.m.  Lunch will follow at the Treherne United Church at 1 p.m.
