Dale Roger Chanel

Dale Chanel passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at his residence in Somerset, Manitoba at the age of 52 years.

He leaves to mourn his passing his children, Tom and Jessica (Tyler); and their mother Rosanne; his sister Connie Chanel (Dave); nephews Ian (Charlotte) and Scott Chalmers; great-nephews Easton and Jacob Chalmers. He also leaves to mourn Jean Arberry and her family; his aunts Joyce VanHulle, Marlaine VanHulle and Linda Joyce (Ron); as well as numerous cousins, extended family and friends.

Dale was predeceased by his father Roger Chanel; his mother Maria Chanel; his grandparents Joseph and Marie Chanel and Alfonse and Mary VanHulle; his aunts and uncles Lucille (George) Tough, Eddie VanHulle and Henry VanHulle.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Somerset Community Hall on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 2 p.m. The service will be available to view via Live Streaming.

Memorial donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba.
