Daniel Tranq

Peacefully at the Notre Dame Hospital on July 7, 2016, Mr. Daniel Tranq of St. Claude, Manitoba passed away at the age of 94 years.

He leaves to mourn seven children: Liliane (Gilbert) Bernard, Margaret de Rocquigny, Alice Price, Albert (Cheryl) Tranq, Dianne (Alan) Henderson, Lucille (Clifford) Sinclair and Rita (Trevor) Barker; fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren: Mona Hammond (Derwyn), Lily; David Bernard (Shauna), Paige, Tess; Brian Bernard (Tracy), Nikki (Tim), Rod, Scott; Jennifer Stein (Dean), Jordan, Brooklyn, Brayden, Nevéah; Rachelle de Rocquigny, Lindsay, Julianna; Daniel de Rocquigny (Christie), Kara-Lea, Abbey; Craig Price; Gracyn Tranq; Chad Henderson (Carissa); Jason Henderson (Allie); Travis Henderson (Kristi), Maddison; Kristina Sinclair (Elom), Makayla; Amanda Lacroix (Greg); Breanna and Tyler Barker.

Daniel was predeceased by his wife Helen (née Zahaiko), son-in-law Jean de Rocquigny, parents Eugene and Germaine Tranq and brothers Emile Tranq and Robert Tranq.

Prayers will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 13, 2016. Eulogy and video tribute at 1:30 p.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. with Msgr Roger Bazin officiating. Family interment will take place after Mass at the St. Claude Parish Cemetery.
