With deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of our dear son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend David Ross Scott.

David was born in Swan Lake, but moved to Winnipeg, where he spent his life working at various jobs.

David loved to draw, he loved to spend time with his nieces, he also spent a good deal of time with his grandmother, who held a special place in his heart.

David loved to meet new friends and was well known for his sense of humor, he was always telling jokes to make people laugh.

David leaves to mourn his passing, his mother Dorothy Scott of Red Lake, MN, his step-mother Yvonne Esquash, brothers, Raymond Scott (Sylvia), Kenneth Esquash Jr.(Tina), sisters, Chantelle Mesojednik (Sean), Christine Esquash, grandmother Mabel Esquash, aunts, Clara Esquash (Mike), Grace Esquash (Simon) all from Winnipeg, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

David was predeceased by his grandfather Charlie Esquash, his father Kenneth Esquash Sr., his uncle Thomas Esquash, his aunt Shirley Esquash, and his cousin Colleen Esquash.

Traditional wake to be held at the Swan Lake First Nation, on Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at 4 p.m. with funeral services held on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at 2:00 pm, at the Swan Lake First Nation.

David will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Until we walk and laugh with you again, David, may you be at rest.
