Deanna passed away at Foyer Notre-Dame on October 29, 2024 at the age of 83 years with family at her side.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Daniel Durand, Cheryl (Murray) Harrison, Ryan Durand, Dwayne (Tina) Durand, Charlotte (Raymond) McPherson and Monica Rodrigue (Jason Manning); her grandchildren, Stacey (Phil) Vigier, Leanne (Darcy) Mawby, Colin Durand, Denis Durand, Joel Durand, Kaitlyn McPherson, Saidee Rodrigue and Noah Rodrigue; her great grandchildren, Koelle, Jayce and Cameron Vigier and Archer and Lena Mawby. She also leaves to mourn her siblings and in-laws, Hanley (Marilyn) Gates, Carol Gates, Leona Timmerman and Daisy Dowhy (Jack), Alain Durand and Aline Durand as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Deanna was predeceased by her husband Hubert Durand, her parents Lawrence and Marjorie Gates, her siblings and in-laws Donald Gates, Jessie (Lorne) Clark, Barry Gates, Raymond Timmerman, Greg Dowhy, Murray Stewart, her parents-in-law, Maxime and Marie Durand, and brothers and sisters in-law, Cécile (Raymond) Pallard, Thérèse (Robert) Fouasse, Paul Durand, Gertrude (Jean) Simoens, Damien Durand, Léandre Durand and Hélène Durand.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Saturday, November 2, 2024 with viewing at 1:30 p.m. and service at 2:00 p.m. The service will be available to view via live-streaming at www.afh.ca
