Denis Louis Amédée Picton
Peacefully, on Tuesday, September 29, 2009, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Mr. Denis Picton of Haywood, Manitoba, passed away at the age of 78 years.
He leaves to mourn his passing five brothers: Michel (Cécile), Edmond, Robert, Elie (Hélène), Georges (Muriel); four sisters: Marie Rosset, Pauline, Louise (Denis) Rosset, and Hélène Drobko. Denis also leaves to mourn numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his father Michel Picton in 1949 and his mother Anaïs in 1999, his brother Louis in 1996, his sister-in-law Gilberte Picton in 2005, his brother-in-law Albert Rosset in 1962, and his two sisters Thérèse and Georgette at infancy.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Denis Roman Catholic Church in Haywood, Manitoba, on Monday, October 5, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery with Msgr. Roger Bazin officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Claude Palliative Care, Box 400, St. Claude, Manitoba, R0G 1Z0.
