Denise and Londyn Acoby

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Denise Acoby (32 years) and her 6 month old daughter, Londyn. They passed away together on November 17, 2020 at their residence in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Denise leaves to mourn her passing her children, Treyden, Naveya, Kevin and Waabigunense; her mother Florence; sisters, Marlene (Tom) and Michelle; four nieces, six nephews and numerous relatives and close friends.

She was predeceased by her father David Maytwayashing; grandparents Okema and Joan Acoby; uncles Henry and Wayne; auntie Marion, cousins Terry, Colleen, Deanna and Adrian.

Denise was a loving, caring and dedicated mother to her children and someone who would go out of her way to lend a helping hand to many people and never asked for something in return.

A Traditional Wake will be held at the Swan Lake First Nation Cultural Centre on Monday, November 23, 2020 at 4 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Swan Lake First Nation Cultural Centre on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 12 noon. Interment to follow at the Indian Springs Cemetery.
