With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Dennis Allan at the Portage Hospital on Saturday, August 28, 2021.  He passed away with his family by his side at the age of 75 years.

He leaves to mourn his wife of 25 years, Elizabeth “Betty” Allan (nee Levesque), his son Mike (Megan) Allan, his daughter Cathie (Don) Gardy and step-children, Veronica (Lionel) Sanders, Amanda (Kevin) Conway, Crystal (Dale) Homeniuk, Elaine (Garnet) Carnegie, Brandon Arsenault and Darren Arsenault and his 16 grandchildren.  He also leaves to mourn is mother-in-law Helen Luciere as well as numerous friends and relatives.

Dennis was predeceased by his parents Harold and Doris Allan and his sister Joan Allan.

We’ll always remember that special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace, you always gave us.

You being there for Mom and us, through good and bad times, no matter what.

We’ll always remember you Dad because they’ll never be another one to replace you in our hearts, and the love we will always have for you.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the STARS Air Ambulance www.stars.ca or to Central Plains Cancer Services 318 Saskatchewan Avenue E. Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.  Friends and Family will be invited to a gathering at a later date.
