Dolores Cabernel of Somerset, Manitoba passed away peacefully at the Notre Dame Hospital on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the age of 66 years.

Dolly leaves to mourn her loving husband Ivan Perron of Somerset, Manitoba; three children, Cory (Tricia) Cabernel, Kelly (Rhonda) Cabernel and Kristen Cabernel (Paul); four grandchildren, Martial, Owen, Kara and Paige; her mother Rachel Labossiere (née Grenier); two sisters, Celine (Guy) Rondeau and Lise Labossiere; one brother-in-law Larry Franks; two sisters-in-law, Leah (Leo) Toupin and Suzanne (Romeo) Subreno. Dolly also leaves to mourn Ivan’s children, Chantal Perron-Proulx (Dan) and Michel Perron.

She was predeceased by her father Lucien Labossiere; one brother Gislain Labossiere; one sister Georgette Franks; and by her stepfather Arthur Labossiere.

Dolly was born at Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba December 19, 1957. She was the second oldest of a family of five children. She graduated high school in Somerset in 1975 and then went to Winnipeg to further her education.  She worked for MTS as a Service Rep and then a clerk and finally an agent for Manitoba Crop Insurance.  She received a plaque from them for 20 years of service. Dolly loved the outdoors and spent much time fishing and camping.  In winter she loved curling. She loved her children and adored her grandchildren.  She will be missed by her many friends and family.

Funeral services will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
