Donald Joseph Clement Rosset
Peacefully at the St. Claude Hospital on Friday, February 4, 2011, Donald Rosset of St. Claude, Manitoba passed away at the age of 63 years, after a courageous battle with cancer and heart disease.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife Monique of 41 years; three children Aline (Marc), Diane (Dave) and Daniel (Christianne); nine grandchildren Jacqueline, Robert, Emery, Hilary, Madison, Wyatt, Natasha, Stéphanie and Colin.
He also leaves to mourn one brother Denis (Louise) Rosset; four sisters Angèle Laliberté, Annette Cormier, Marie (Lucien) Gauthier and Claudette Philippe; one sister-in-law Jeannette Fillion-Rosset; three brothers-in-law Emile Fay, Norbert (Yvette) Philippe and Denis (Claudette) Philippe; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Donald was predeceased by his parents Auguste and Rosabelle; two brothers Albert and Gilbert; one sister Rose Fay (nee Rosset); one sister-in-law Marie (Picton) Rosset; and by two brothers-in-law Réal Laliberté and Gaëtan Cormier.
Funeral Service will be held in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 9, 2011. Music and Reflection at 1:30 followed by Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. with Father Marcel Carrière officiating. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Claude Wellness Centre or to a charity of choice.
