Peacefully at the Notre Dame Hospital on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, Mrs. Doreen McKay of Treherne, Manitoba passed away at the age 74 years.
She leaves to mourn her passing four children: Karen Leafloor of Killarney, Caryl McKay (Neil Strachan) of Winnipeg, Stacey (Daniel) Labossiere of St. Claude and Lee (Stacey Zeghers) McKay of Oakbank; six grandchildren: Erron, Cole, Brandy, Jessica, Cameron and Megan; and three brothers: Ronald, Raymond and Wayne (Lori) Pouteau.
She was predeceased by her husband Allan McKay in 2008; her parents: Theophile and Clara Pouteau; two sisters: Enid Beernaerts and Bernice Rebillard
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Swan Lake, Manitoba on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 1:00 pm, with viewing prior to the service. Interment to follow in the Swan Lake Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
