Peacefully at the Lorne Memorial Hospital in Swan Lake, Manitoba on Friday, June 9, 2017, Mr. Eddie Van Cauwenberghe of Swan Lake, Manitoba passed away at the age of 73 years.
He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Elaine (nee Zeghers); 4 children, Diana Devloo, Dora (Romeo) DeCosse, Cheryl Payette and Dale Van Cauwenberghe (Connie); 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn 3 siblings, Frances Fifi, Bonnie Van de Vorde (Wes) and Ben (Diane) Van Cauwenberghe; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Rene and Mary Van Cauwenberghe; one daughter Donna; his in-laws, Arthur and Alma Zeghers; and by one brother-in-law George Fifi.
Funeral services will be held in the St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church in Swan Lake, Manitoba on Thursday, June 15, 2017. Prayers and music at 1:30 followed by Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. with Fr. John Te Nguyen officiating. Interment will take place after Mass at the Swan Lake Parish Cemetery.
