Peacefully at the Baldur Manor on Wednesday October 5, 2022, Mr. Edmond Maranda passed away at the age of 92 years.

He will forever be remembered by his children, Denis (Sandra) Maranda, Jeannine (Garnet) Pouteau, Lorraine (Kelly) Edmonds and Diane Maranda; his grandchildren Jesse (Jocelyn), Brittany (Mark), Julie (Ryan) and Mitchell (Alyson); his great-grandchildren, Henrik, Jett, Ada, Felix, Quinn and Atley. He also leaves to mourn his sisters Yvonne Scott and Germaine Maranda; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Edmond is predeceased by his wife Edith Maranda and his grandsons Cory and Tyler Maranda.

Edmond enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, always putting his family first.  He enjoyed his friendships while going for coffee and living on the farm.

A Private Funeral Service will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home. The interment will take place in the Mariapolis Parish Cemetery.
