Peacefully at the Notre Dame Hospital on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, Mrs. Elida Talbot of St. Leon, Manitoba passed away at the age of 92 years.
She leaves to mourn her two sons: Henri and Emile (Annelise); two daughters: Yvonne Touchette and Lucie (Frank) Shaw; one son-in-law Bill Walker; ten grandchildren: Linette (Jaret), Brigitte (Jeff), Jeremi, Christine (John), Natalie, Colin (Rosie), Daniel (Jen), Amy, Melanie and Andrew; six great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one sister Antoinette Trudel; one sister-in-law Florence Talbot; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Elida was predeceased by her husband Adelard in 1987; one daughter Lorette in 2010 and by one son-in-law Alain Touchette in 1985.
Funeral Services will be held in the St. Leon Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, January 7, 2012. Recitation of the Rosary at 1:30, Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery with Father Armand Le Gal officiating.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Notre Dame Hospital for the care and compassion given to our mother during her stay.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
