Elizabeth Peters (nee Walker)

Peacefully at the Lions Personal Care Centre, in Winnipeg, MB on Friday, January 1, 2021, Mrs. Elizabeth Peters passed away at the age of 88 years.

Elizabeth is survived by her brother Tony Walker, numerous relatives, in-laws and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Edward, her parents Frank and Maggie Walker, brothers Charles (Bertha), Jim (Clara), Bill (Ramona), Thomas (Mary) and sisters Bertha (Frank) and Irene (David).

Elizabeth enjoyed family visits, cooking and sharing recipes, maintaining a beautiful yard at Long Plain First Nation. Most of all she enjoyed good jokes and loved to laugh.

Elizabeth moved into Lions Prairie Manor (Portage la Prairie) in early 2014 due to a change in her health status. Then in mid 2019 she relocated to the Lions Personal Care Centre (Winnipeg) to be closer to family. Liz enjoyed the closeness with family and friends

Everyone is welcome to attend viewing at Adam’s Funeral Home from 9:00 am-12:00 pm on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.  A Graveside Service will follow at the Indian Springs Cemetery to follow.
